Trying to open the tif file generated in DSS results in "unable to open" error

in both Adobe PS Elements and Nikon's Capture NX.

I can work with it but must copy to  clipboard and past the image into PS.

Been looking at users work here but can't open their tif files?

DSS saves a 32-bit TIFF which a lot of software doesnt like.

Get FITSWORK which is free, open in that and save in a different format. Its a great package anyway, and VERY easy to use.

No need to have fitswork save the file in a different format. DSS will let you save a 16 bit version of your file from the menu on the left of the program.
