Hi there. Up till now, I’ve been using the kit zoom lens that came with a D3500. I have an Astro-modified D5300 and EQ6-R Pro I’ll be using it with. I want a wide field (60-80mm) setup. Any suggestions? I really want it to be sub 650 with a field flattened included. I was thinking of an AT65EDQ, but can’t seem to find one. Thanks for any suggestions

Are there any options that are under $650.  I’ve already sunk quite a lot into PI, camera, mount, adapters etc.Just want to know the best 60-80mm options at this price point

You can get plenty of fast fracs in that price range, but with flat field included, the price goes up fast.

So really, the RedCat/SpaceCat by WO is likely going to cover all your needs for a near price if you want flat field.

Otherwise, you can get any inexpensive 72~80mm F6 doublet and no flat field for well under your price point.

Very best,

What about the Lacerta ED APO 72/432 (similar to former William Megrez 72) in combination with a flattener)?

But I don't know, if this Austrian seller would ship to the US.

Or this 2+2 lense quadruplet ED APO, seems to be delivered WITH flatener for 600,- Euros for Europe):

The German seller "Teleskop express" has an similar ED APO

With regards!

Also, I'm perfectly fine buying used if necessary!
