Hi All,

I came across the Nikon APS-C clip on filters for Nikon Cameras. I am looking for IR-Cut filter for my Nikon 5300 full spectrum modified camera which I brought from Cloudynights classified section. I am bit confused about the various ND values against the IR-cut filter at

I see various filters from ND16-ND1000. Can someone help me with the right ND value for the IR Cut filter for best results?

Regards

-Ravi

Thanks for this post.  I've been hesitant to astro-mod my D5600 because, if possible, I would like to use it for regular photography as well.  The thought is that I would like to have my D5600 modded for AP but then have a clip in to use w/ my standard Nikon lenses so I can do regular photography (if this is possible...)  However, finding clip ins for the D5600 is challenging.  I'll definitely be following this post to see if this service works for you.

Cheers and good luck,

Geoff
