Hello Der_Pit,

Thanks for sharing your results.

On my screen it looks like there may be some CA but not easy to tell given the image size.

Please keep posting more images taken with this scope (seriously thinking about getting one this summer).

Hi Axel,

CA isn't really an issue/noticeable when using a mono camera plus filters, as both slightly different focus as well as slightly different image scale (the typical CA photo lenses have) are taken care of during acquisition or postprocessing.

The issue is rather that I take my images one filter at a time, so there can be hours (or even days...) between data for the different colors, i.e., they are taken at very different seeing conditions, leading to deviating star sizes.

So the color halos are rather an indication of my missing processing skills blush.gif

Seriously, get the telescope.  I've not found anything to complain so far.  As any refractor it does need it's time to cool to ambient before it produces full quality.  I found out already that 1h (for cooling from 22 to 8 degrees C) is not enough wink.gif

FYI, I added another night of data (10.1h total), the combined image is now (in full size) on Astrobin
