From my backyard (bortle 4.9). Rough sketch outside and then finished drawing on 70lb drawing paper, pictured and then inverted on my computer.

Amazing drawing!  M3 was my first globular cluster. Worthy of being framed.

Michael,

Very nice sketch of M 3.  The globular clusters are fun to sketch but are a bit challenging. You did a beautiful job with this one.

Frank :)

M3 is one of the greatest globular star clusters in the entire heavens.

Superb sketch from you, Michael.

As Canes Venatici is now rising, it means that spring in the northern hemisphere is not far away.

Kind regards,

Aubrey.

Absolutely beautiful sketch. Love the detail you've put into this. I can only hope to get this good at sketching globular clusters.
