Folks

1. Is turning the focus knob in clockwise direction moving the apparatus to the rear of the OTA?

2. Can you turn the focus all the way clockwise and then calibrate. Will this then move the position readout to 0 and increase as you turn counter clockwise?

Thanks Mark

During calibration, the focus motor will automatically rotate to find the Clockwise and counterclockwise rotation limits.

So to give it a chance, turn your focus shaft a few turns away from the closest stop.

Run Calibration utility and your all set.

Calibration can be run from hand control or Celestron Focuser Utility Program or Celestron CPWI software.
