Hey guys, I show you guys this image of Monkey head nebula in narrowband:

Nebula NGC2174, also called Monkey Head. This nebula is located in the constellation of Orion, at a distance of 6400 light years from Earth.
This image consists of 14 images in Ha from 900" to bin2 and 10 to 900" for OIII and SII to bin2.

 

Equipment:
Telescope RC10 Truss GSO
Camera CCD Atik16200
Mount Mesu 200
Set filter narrowband Baader 2"
Camera guide Lodestar x2
Guidding with OAG by TS

Did you try SHO version for processing or it is different processing you want?

That's a very nice image. It's a bit unusual to see the center red and the edges blue, since the center of this nebula is actually stronger in OIII (blue/green). But, I kind of like your choice of colors.

Thanks!, the unusual colors was because I was wrong to mixed channels... I confused the red channel with the blue... And that was the result...

My perspective, I don't think you were wrong to mix the channels as the end result proves it.

If I remember correctly, the American artist Bob Ross called them "happy mistakes".
