Any straight swap 2 inch focusers for a Vixen A100M made? Same tube size & holes alignment for simplicity.

The OE is 1.25" fit only.

Is this the A105m?

Remove the focuser and measure the inside tube diameter. If it’s 96.6 mm, you’re in luck:

The A105 has a 2”. I think he is referring to the older 102 version which was 1.25”.

Interestingly, having had one of the older ones too, I noticed the draw tube is about 38mm wide. I thought about trying to find a thread on adapter so that it would take a 2” diagonal. Might vignette the widest 2” eyepieces but should work with a 31T5. But I didn’t get around to trying this so just theoretical.

I would say you will easily get a 2” GSO straight swap from Agena Astro, go to their site its pretty easy my 3 took about 20 min. each to change ! And they are around $150 US for excellent quality !  Clear Skies !

Provided he first confirms his tube ID is 96.6 mm.

Correct ! That goes without saying, thats why I didn’t say it, lol !  Clear Skies !   PS:  If you read all the literature on their site pertaining to changing focusers they stress very clearly to make sure you measure the opening, the tube diameter.

Nonetheless, it needs to be said and it needs to be said that the focuser needs to attach with three screws..

It is an A102M of the older tube style. The focuser is fastened with 3 screws, ED style.
