Hi all,

Last friday night I had an oportunity to get out under the stars again

after a long time without clear nights and too much cold to get out.

So, all setup and aimed for the center of the Rosette where

NGC2244 is located. This is a cluster of stars formed by the gas of

the nebula.

Taken with RC8, reducer and Triad filter, ASI1600MCC ( OSC )

60 x 180 seconds

Also the molecular clouds stand out nice, where many small

Bok globules can be seen.

Maybe the colors are not great but this is my first iteration on processing

this nebula.

And a scaled down version for CN:

Clear skies,

Mert

Very nice processing!  The contrast is outstanding.  You have time to play with the colors later.  Congratulations!

From what I've read that is the case!

Hi all,

Tonight I did some reprocessing in order to get a bit more color into

my image but maybe I went too far, I should have controlled the stars

a lot better during stretching but I wanted to go quick and only

wanted to do different for the colors.

After all it is shot with a OSC and Triad filter. shrug.gif

I'd like to hear what you think of it or which versiĆ³n you like better (

and preferably why )

Thanks for looking!

Mert

Ok, sorry folks to insist,

but here goes my last attempt trying to correct the stars a bit ( color

of the stars was wrong ).

Hope it is up to the standards of CN blush.gif
