Twice in the past 6 months I have had to clean what appears to be small droplets of light oil or solder flux from the sensor of my 1600MC-Cooled.  When examined under a magnifying glass, the contaminant appears to originate from beyond the edge of the sensor and then flows across the sensor at some point when the camera is in use.  Has anyone else experienced this problem?

E-mail ZWO directly about this. Sounds like a serious issue.

Now that's interesting. I've cleaned odd little drippy streaks from my ASI1600MM-c sensor a number of times over the 3 or 4 years ive had it - always assumed they were just condensation, but now you mention it, they were much more as you describe. Oily.

Same here:  Drippy streak from the edge of the sensor glass inward.  It cleans quite easily, so hadn't really thought about it being an issue.  When I posted a topic about it several months ago, virtually everyone said it was condensation and it did indeed look like condensation to me.  Here was the picture when I posted about it:

Mine is the MM-Cool, at least a couple of years old.  Not sure of the exact date as I bought it used from CN Classifieds.
