Here's my first Solar animation 375 x 50 frames at 20 second intervals all batch processed with free software . I created a few macros and let the PC do most of the work while I went out to lunch. Click the link to view the animation.

Captured with Firecapture with my   Lunt 60mmSS  H-alpha scope , ASI 290mm camera 2x barlow.

Stacking   -  Autostakert3

Sharpening and alignment    -    Imppg

Image resizing    -   IrfanView64

False colour and Gif creation    -    GIMP

Macro's created with MinI Mouse Macro.

Hope you enjoy the animation, I think the the faint prom is the most interesting.

Martin

Great animation Martin, looks like seeing improved as the animation went on! Love the movement in that dim prom. One suggestion would be to just crop a little off the bottom just to get rid of that dark band at the bottom that shows up in the beginning of the animation but that’s a minor thing.

So this is 50 frames where you captured 375 images every 20 seconds, or is it 375 frames where you captured 50 images every 20 seconds? Trying to figure out how much “real” time is covered in the animation.
