This is a beautiful but somewhat challenging area near Orion but located in Monoceros, the Unicorn. It is a combination of various emission, reflection, and dark nebulae that lead to a complicated but colorful region.

I collected RGB data for it on the 19th and 21st of February. I then added L data collected the night of the 22nd of February.

All subs were 5 minutes and binned 1x1.

Totals used were:

R: 24

G: 24

B: 22

L: 26

Total integration time was 8 hours.

Telescope: AT8RC with CCDT67 working at about 1198 mm focal length.

Camera: SBIG STF-8300m with Baader LRGB filters

Mount: Paramount MyT

Image Acquisition: Voyager

Image Processing: PixInsight
