was out last night polar aligning, the wedge it came with is to flimsy. I'm wanting a heavy duty wedge, i looked at williams, (but there out of stock) so need to know another type if available. latitude 42 degrees

 

please help

May purchase a photographic geared head, but these are expensive.
Astrotrac's wedge was a cheaper option but do not know if still available; also need a bit of work to be adapted.
The german firm TeleOptik (their stuff can be purchased from Teleskop express) used to sell a decent small wedge: I have the model for yhe Astrotrac and therefore it has a 3/8" bolt, but 3/8" to 1/8" adapters are easy to find (I got one from Amazon and was able to use the wedge with my Polarie).
