Well here is a little imaged Arp and probably with good reason-it is VERY small.  But it is kinda cool to image these distant, odd galaxies.  Looks like this one is ~260M light years distant.  A little easy research reveals this object is actually two galaxies colliding.

 

C11 at f/11.3 (3200mm), MI-250, 12 x 10min, ST-8XME

 

20 miles north of Minneapolis. Not really dark skies.

The Arps do have some strange "draw" to them.....  A lot are small and challenging but that is half the fun.  Just the fact that an 11" backyard scope can pick these up 20 miles from a major metropolitan city is also amazing to me.
