IMO, you can't go wrong with either a 6" F8 or an 8" F6.  I'm not a big guy, I'm pushing 60, and I have no problems toting either Newt (my arm span is just wide enough to grab each end & carry at waist height), or putting them in the cradle.  My RV-6 is light enough to use the Mizar AR + ShortPod, and I can carry the assembled rig around the yard.  The 826 requires a Meade StarFinder + the 25# counterweight, so it's not mobile.  If I had to shed one, it would be the RV-6, but only because the 826 shows that much more.
