I found my dad's telescope Celestial C90 1000x that has been stored for years. I used it to look at the moon - awesome! Then I thought I would clean it up and took it apart somewhat. It does not work now. Dumb I know. Help please.

When you say it doesn't work, what do you mean?  The focuser won't turn?  The image won't reach focus?  How much did you disassemble it?  Photos would help.

Trying to repair something like this (I took it apart, and "it does not work now") via forum discussions is pretty futile.

Where are you located? You might get some help form a local astronomy club - maybe; Or you can sell it for parts. - depending on how much "apart" it is, and how carefully you protect and package any exposed optics.
