Hello to the forum,

the 4th observation night in a row ... initially I was skeptical, after detect the cirrus clouds in the sky, but the night was better than expected! I was warmed up well in the in-house sauna and after that i decided to take a look at the observatory. The little bear was complete visible, the wind only weak and the air dry-cold. The air humidity was only around 30 % at 2 ° C air temperature! During the day we sometimes only had 11-12% Humidity. After seeing many galaxies in the big bear up to about 11 mag area brightness clearly in the Astrophysics Starfire 5 inch, M97 was also very conspicuous, I made one detour to the lion and have finally scetched the Leo triplet at the Baader "big field-Bino" with the Starfire. Before that, I observed the current comet Atlas, and also the comet was sketched at the end. It was half past one and my body reserves were running low.

Thanks for watching and clear skies, Jens
