Messier 108 is a galaxy in Ursa Major ; magnitude: 9.96 ; size: 7'x1.5' ; fairly bright and elongated with mottling throughout the object ; no pronounced core, many bright HII regions visible . I used a 14mm Meade Ultrawide eyepiece at 113x magnification with my 14.5 Starstructure Dob f/4.3
