Ngc 4567 & Ngc 4568 aka The Siamese Twins are a pair of unbarred colliding galaxies in Virgo ; magnitudes: 11.9 and 10.7 ; they were both discovered by William Herschel in 1784 ; appear to be connected, both galaxies have bright nucleuses. I used a 8mm Ethos at 198x with my 14.5 Starstructure Dob f/4.3 A most remarkable object!!

Frank asks: "who doesn't like this pair?"  Someone who believes in a flat earth would probably not be moved by this object.  Superb sketch Raul!

Regards,

Randolph
