We had clear weather in Belgium during almost 2 weeks. Exceptional for the month of Mars. I could observe many nights from my garden (due to corona-lockdown) and logged some 200 William Herschel objects. The 27th I observed my 2000th specimen. A good reason to make a sketch smile.gif  Still a good 400 objects to go...

Wow, Jef. Good catch there. When did you start on the Herschels? I think it took me about 8 years to finish them.

Jef,

A fine sketch of this pretty bright galaxy.

Very nice work on sketching it.

Frank :)

I'm not sure when I started to observe in a systematic way the Herschel objects. It could be around Mai 2018. At that moment I had allready observed some 750 Herschels (finished some years before the Herschel 400).
