I attempted to capture C/2019 Y4 Atlas last night.  It was a challenge getting the guiding working, but I was finally able to get CdC to communicate with PHD.

Here's my result.  The stacking in DSS was also challenging to figure out.

Here's a crop.

I also tried a DSS star trails version.  Another crop.

Nice. I actually like the star trails version, and I didn't think I would based on the description in DSS (I'm working on one too but just starting with the options in DSS). Good work!

Edit: Did you stack the first one using the "3rd" comet stacking option? Did you have to go through and set the comet for each frame?

I think that looks pretty darn good!  Wait'll that little dude swings by in May, you're photo skills will be finely tuned by then.

Yes, the first image was with the 3rd comet option.  I did set the comet for each frame.  Apparently, if your photos are in order, you can set it for the first and last frame, and it should set all the rest, but I just went ahead and set each frame.
