I sure you are all likely getting sick of ATLAS photos, but in case you aren't... here is my time-lapse where I captured the green core and its starting to show a bit of a tail!

Sorry, GraySkies, but you're wrong! I, for one, am NOT sick or tired  of Comet Atlas photos and videos!! grin.gif

I've been viewing this comet for a while and hoping for its bright future...so keep the photos/ videos coming!

Thanks,

I was surprised myself! When I was taking the test frames before starting the time-lapse it was notable change in position!

My heart for a second dropped, I was like... what did i do wrong?!?

But yes, lots of talk about this comet (I love comets, as you can tell from my Comet Love Joy Avatar Icon).
I'm hoping to redo the timelapse with my Edge HD 8" the next opportunity and then stack together for a cool final image (I tried with this but its too tiny to show any real difference).

Thanks everyone for the kind words, I'm hoping it will stick around long enough that I can find it with my larger telescope and get a closer field of view in the coming weeks.
