Just be aware that though it is labeled 5mm, it is really closer to 4.7mm.

Yeah I know its 4.77 as far as I remember to be more specific

I was looking to get high magnification eyepiece and ended up buying apm 5mm 110fov. And what an amazing ep it is! 110fov is just a hole new experience for its price its very impressive.

Good to hear! smile.gif

Never tried those. I basically went from Meade HD 60’s to ES82’s, to ES100, to APM for just as well corrected but 40x less weight. I’m a big fan of just wide fields.

I notice the APM 9 has a little but less eye relief on it. Does it feel any less comfortable than the other APMs?

I haven’t noticed any real difference between the line in the eyepieces. But since I don’t wear glasses or use the eye cups I may not be the best to notice those slight differences in here.

Interesting, thanks. I have the ES 92 12mm, but would like to try the ultra wide APMs for their lighter weight.

100°! I can’t even imagine. Was looking at them on Don’s website, the specs are stunning. And considering, not that expensive.

Haven’t made any EP purchases this year or last. Was considering diving into the recent Morpheus sale, but decided against and am focusing on setting aside funds for a new scope and mount.
