Hello moon friends, today the moon rose directly on the geometric horizon, the air was very transparent. The image of the moon in the eyepiece was very detailed and calm, and that at minus 14 ° declination! I was watching straight on my astro chair without any prism. I didn't hit Petavius exactly in my opinion, but there was no time I could correct it because the moon then disappeared behind our roof. Before i saw a lot of litle details of the central mountain and the rimae, it was a very great view ! Thanks for watching and clear skies, Jens
