Hi if anyone with this scope can help me by measuring some lengths for me I would really appreciate it.

I need the length of the lens cell.

The length of the tube between lens cell and focuser

The length from the objective end to the end of the tube.

The length for the objective cell to the fully in focuser drawtube

The length from the lens cell to a fully extended drawtube.

Many thanks for the info if you can help.

Anybody?

My main dimension I need is the length of the white metal tube itself excluding dew shield. If anyone with the scope can measure that I would appreciate it.

I have just measured the length of the white tube from the bottom end of the dewshield (when fully extended) on my FCD100 scope as being 58cm, or just under 23in. Having previously owned the FCD01 version, I recall it being about an inch longer.

Thanks John. Really appreciate the help. I am building a scope using a ES127 lens cell and just need a starting point for tube length. Is there any main tube tucked under the dew shield do you know?

Yes, probably about 2-3 ins, but can't get the exact measurement without unscrewing the dewshield which does not come off very easily.

Thanks John will start out with a 27"+ tube and cut it down as I get close to the actual number, will probably start with a scope on a stick but now I have a starting point.
