I redid IC 1396

and tried to imagine how it would look like in the night sky if I had crazy night vision eyes.

So i overlayed it with a shot of the moon I took with the same lens.

I don't believe it, something must be wrong...

Creative, but hardly reflective of reality. The Moon never passes through Cepheus. So no like, though the image of the nebula itself is quite attractive.

I was referring to the size not the location 😄

I like the approach, but I would have preferred a full moon and in the center. but the image of the rossette is superb, thank you.
