Do you mean the label on the focuser? Or the label on it's wood box?
A 7TE-5 will have a 57500 on the box label, and it will be a 60mm x 1000mm.
An 7TE may have a box label like this:
And the focuser label might look like this:
-but this is actually from a 7TE-2

Can you post any pictures?
Does the box have Styrofoam inserts, or does it look like this:
-this is a 7TE box
If the price is good, it may be worth getting. Those 7TE Tasco's lenses were made my Royal Astro Optical, and they are excellent. The mounts are pretty good too.
They also adapt easily to use 1-1/4" eyepieces. You just have to change the VB.
These scope date back to about 1960/61.

If it’s a 227x, it’s the second version of the 7T. Here’s a post by Stephen (Stargoat), our local Tasco answer man...
”I don't know when exactly (never will smile.gif) when Tasco officially started called their 60mm x 910mm scopes the 7T. Maybe they always did internally.
My receipt dated May 1959 304 Power version is noted as 7T on the receipt. No mention of 7T yet in the manual.
The earlier models going back to 1957 per Export Tags are first the 152 Power version, followed by the 227 Power model. Then very late or early 1959 Tasco had a short lived 228 Power model...only a few known to exist from a different supplier. Looks like the 227 was very possibly being sold same time as the 228 version. But once the first 304 model came out, the 227 and 228 were no longer sold once inventories sold out.”

Not sure what platform you are using to try and attach the photos. I use my iPad and iPhone, and use a free app called “Image Size”. With that app I can easily change the image size, and save it as a jpeg so it meets the file size requirements.
If you do a search on cleaning, you’ll find loads of information on cleaning up these old telescopes.
If you plan on taking the Mount apart to clean and regrease it, ryanr256 did a great write up with instructions and photos. He is sharing it on his google drive and the link can be found here... https://www.cloudyni...-7te/?p=9621351

For photos, this is what I do.
Take photo with camera, or phone. Transfer pictures to computer. Open the pictures with "Paint", every computer comes with "Paint".
In Paint, resize pictures. If the pictures are 5MB, resize 10-15%, if about 3MB, resize about 15-20%.
Once they are resized, save the picture as a JPEG.
In your CN posts, use "more reply options", choose your files, and put them into the body of your post.
Play around with the resizing to see what size pictures you end up with.
I like easy, and this is the easiest way for me. This is also how many other people do it here on CN.

The 227x is a pre-7TE, so people just call them a 227x. I have the OTA from one that was parted out. One of the differencess between it and a 7TE, is that the 227x has a captive tube clamp on the mount, whereas the 7TE has a more modern and easier to use clam clamp. If I'm not mistaken, because of the captive clamp, the telescope is stored in the box connected to the mount which makes it a bit more of a challenging task.
Your focuser and bagde probably look like this.
