And now, as promised: 7-2-2007, Epsilon Lyrae ("doble double"). Magnification too low, but you can see elongation (no separation).

Cygnus and Lyra, 9-28-2007, Griswold, CT. On some rare nights there in the far northeast corner of the state, the Milky Way took on a granular appearance.

Here is another photo from 2007.  I was able to view and photograph the ISS and the Space shuttle Atlantis moving across the sky in tandem a few hours after the shuttle had undocked from the station in preparation for its return to earth.
