I posted this yesterday in the equipment forum, but thought you guys might want to see it.
===========================
One of our goals here at CloudyNights.com is to introduce children and non-astronomers to the beauty of the sky. To this end we have offered different programs over the past several years, and recently embarked on a continuing program of equipment loan and outreach encouragement. With the cooperation of like minded partner companies, in this case Denkmeier Optical, CloudyNights.com is pleased to announce the latest addition to its "Tiny Eyes on the Skies" lending program:
A Denkmeier Standard binoviewer, with 2 sets eyepieces (GTO-LE 15mm Long Eye Relief, GTO 32mm plossls), carrying case and the following corrector systems; the low power StarSweeper for SCTs, and the 2" OCS for Newtonians.
This unit is now available for checkout. Please note that at this time, we only have one available, but we do expect a second unit shortly.
We encourage any astronomers interested in borrowing equipment to check out our "Tiny Eyes on the Skies" page
http://www.cloudynig...s/tiny eyes.htm
for more information. Vendors or other individuals interested in donating items for the "Tiny Eyes on the Skies" program may contact: ttrusock@hatchet.badaxe.k12.mi.us
Keep an eye on the CloudyNights.com forums for the quickest news about further additions to our lending program.
