In the faster optics, the wavelength of the narrow-band filter is shifted toward the short-wave direction and the transmittance is attenuated. It still has very good performance. Most of our test photos are used under the 150mm f2.8 and C11 rasa f2 systems. The photo details are very good.

Curious why the first Horeshead is backwards.

Second Horsehead is mindblowing.  Incredible detail.

Cheers

Where can I buy these?  The USA dealer does not have stock.  Can I order directly?

Looks awesome!

Gotta ask: any love for us QSI users? Don't see 31mm unmounted options in Agena's webpage...

 Thank you very much.

31mm is compatible with 1.25 inches most of the time, so we mainly used 1.25 inches in the early stage, only a small amount of 31mm, there is not much inventory, so most agents do not

Gotcha.

The problem is for QSI filterwheel, 31mm unmounted filter requires the washer to hold the filter in place, while 1.25 mounted filters just screw in, and cannot be used with the washer. One washer is shared between the adjancent filters, and I already have 31mm LRGB, so I cannot keep them and add a set of 1.25" mounted NB filters...

Ok, understand, if you are in the United States, you can consult agena, there should be 31mm NB filter

Wow these are some incredible images, the ones posted all seem to be with the RASA however. Please post some pictures with the 150mm F2.8 whenever you get the chance. I’m looking at getting myself a set of these.

Hi.

I have a 36cm F2 RASA, so I am interested in these filters.

When do you expect to have a Ha/SII/OIII 50mm unmounted round filter set to be available?

I am in Australia..do you have dealers here?  I also purchase from Cyclops Optics in Hong Kong.

thanks

Martin

Impressive.

Are these filters still ok with optics slower than f/2.8?

The optical system lower than f2.8 will still have losses, but because of the large amount of incoming light, the effect is still very good.

We have f2.2 (RASA) and f2.8 (sharpstar 15028HNT 150mm f2.8) tested.

This is the test chart of antlia filter with f2.8: https://www.cloudyni...-faster-optics/

Here is a master light from 15 x 240s ANTLIA  36mm Ha on NGC 281. (yes i know i need to redo my flats, i keep having issues obtaining proper flats)

Taken with a STELLARVUE SVX70 and ASI183MM PRO combo.

no processing except the autostretch and there is a ton of lossy compression

Do you make a wider (e.g. 7nm) OIII filter? I'm curious as my other (non Antlia) narrowband filters are 7nm.

You can also mix and use 3.5nm, currently we have no plans to launch a 7nm narrowband filter

Thanks. I am probably going to end up mixing, as OIII seems to be one that needs the narrowest bandwidth.
