Hello freinds of sketching !

Workfull weeks at the job have passed me. This week i have "forced vacation", we have to use up the half of our vacation of 2020 until June 30. Corona "thank you" ...;-(

Venus is near the lower conjunction and so i build me a sidelight cap to hide the direct sunlight near the conjunction. Today i sketched the small (2,6%) sickle of Venus and
a big flame-like prominence. Thanks for watching ! Clear skies, Jens

Very impressive, especially Venus. I observed it a few hours later from the US with a newton 10" f/7 phase down already to 2.3%, same impressions (well apart from colors). I like the unevenness of the illuminated fraction of the disk. I may have perceived an extension of the cusps, but I would not bet on it.
