I am trying to polar align with a new Polemaster.    When I try to align the Polemaster software template with the stars on the screen I can never find a set of stars to align with the circles on the template..  I have my mount facing due north and configured for my latitude.  I am pretty sure I select polaris on the screen.   Any suggestions?  Thanks

Are you moving the circles around using the slider on the left side?  If so and you still can't get them to align then I would think you're not properly selecting Polaris.

Yes, Kochab is often mistaken for Polaris. Use the Big Dipper pointers to trace a line to the true Polaris.
