I made it over a weekend for taking flat frames.  I built a wood frame around hard form insert for a rifle case and cut a cylindrical extrusion using an adjustable hole saw for the optical tube an rectangular cut for the Pegasus Astro focuser motor.  The foam has a gap to slip a light tracing pad for the uniformed light source.

Hello! Looks good. What is your design for the light source(s) and light diffusion? Best regards.

I didn't use anything for light diffusion and my light source is a a flat LED panel for tracing artwork.
