I'll simply justify the below pix with this statement: I love rainbows!

 

Today had been variably cloudy late and with threats of isolated storms. Typically, these swell and fill the sky. This evening, we had a massive cloudburst just before 7:30, but the sun was threatening to break through the clouds. To me, this meant a good opportunity for a rainbow!

 

Because the isolated storm moved through quickly and the sun came out shortly thereafter, and I think also due to the size of the raindrops, the magnificent rainbow that appeared was quite intense, and even the double rainbow was easily visible.
