NGC 2903 Leo, (Ha+R)GB, OB Associations and Mama-Clouds
In this version of the image I extracted RGB channels from the original OSC photograph, added a very grainy Ha stack to the R channel, processed it separately, then recombined (Ha+R)GB. I am not sure the result has much aesthetic appeal, but it is interesting to see how the light blue OB associations in the spiral arms are immersed in fluorescing Mama-hydrogen clouds.
