I took this image of the first quarter moon with my 120ST and my T6i. Is a great view of Montes Apenninus which is my favorite moon feature.  I took this one in a small chance I got between thick clouds. Tomorrow the forecast is clear and I'm planning on using the CPC8 for a closer shot  any recommendations of interesting feature near the terminator tomorrow?

thanks sunnyday, its a lot easier to get a sharp image with the short focal length of the 120St which is only at 600.  I was doing some testing through my window with the CPC and the higher focal length gave views which are close up but look less sharp. I'm hoping when I take the CPC to the roof I will be able to get sharper images. I'm going to try recording small videos and putting them through Autostakkert to see what I get.  This was the best I could do through the window with the CPC

The Rupes Recta was superb for me last night, I got 190x with my ED72. Sometimes the terminator shows it so distinctly. Could be worth a shot.

Hesiodus A, a gorgeous concentric crater.  Its just at the terminator now, so it will look lovely tomorrow.  Well within reach of an 8".
