For once in my life, I took my beloved Meade Series 4000 14mm Ultra Wide with me to some sort of star party and in the dark, I lost the black eye end cap I had with it. Do you know what is its replacement part, or the dimensions of a cap that should do it?

For the first time in my 30 years in star gazing I have lost something and it meant to be that (thank god the setting screw is still there).

I use a Televue cap on my 14mm UWA. Blasphemy I realize :) For some reason the Dioptrx connection fits on the UWA too (important to me for night vision afocal with the TNVC adapter).

The first generation of this eyepiece was a cylinder shape with an almost-flat top and no rubber eyecup.

The DioptRx would only fit the second generation of the eyepiece that had a rubber eyecup.

1st generation:

48mm end cap fits the 14mm UWA. I assume the Agena 47.8mm will fit.
