Hi,

I have an old TeleRad on a C8. I’ve been cleaning off velcro and stuff. I also removed the TeleRad.

Does anyone know a good adhesive replacement for reinstalling the TeleRad?

thanks,

Bill

They just use the 3M sticky-back foam that comes in a roll.  You can usually find it at Lowe's, Walmart, etc.

3M foam automotive trim tape from any auto supply store....careful with your initial alignment because it’s ohmygod sticky!

Nthing the 3M double stick foam. That's what's included with the Telrad out of the box, so it'll be good as new.

I picked up a roll of double sided tape for exterior use at Lowes a couple of years ago.  It's resistant to moisture and has an incredible hold factor.  It's good stuff.

Make sure you get the foam sticky back tape. That way you can remove it easily with a guitar string if needed. Do not get 3M "VHB" tape or you'll be in for a big mess if you want to change anything.
