I'm working on my first mosaic and I'm stumped on this one:

Using the same camera on the same target, I'm getting different results after debayering.  Some shots are heavily RED, some have that famous horrible GREEN tinge.

Does anybody know how or why it would change?  I was 100% sure this was operator error when I selected the debayer settings in PI.  I've done it 3 times now and I get the same results.  I even tried to debayer with EVERY possible pattern.

The ones that come out red looking stunning.  The greenish ones are just horrible.  I'm out of ideas and don't know what to do.  Any ideas?

Hmmm when you mention mosaic...you are debayering each frame individually?

It's really difficult to guess unless you show an example.

yes - so not really related to a mosaic other than the frames are different - if you were attempting to debayer after creating the mosaic it would be :)

debayer should be RGGB for the 1600MC

I only worry about the cast after I have done background extraction or colour cal. before hand I don't care as the target and sky conditions can change what the unstretched image looks like

you can drop them into a drop box if you'd like some help

cheers
