Wow...very timely thread for me.

 

I was just going through my collection of astro gear and came across an older set of Meade Series 4000 1.25" color filters. I have never used them, don't know if they are quality or not, and really didn't have an idea of what their strengths and weaknesses are.

The set includes:

 

#12 yellow (74%)

#23A Light Red (25%)

#58 Green (24%)

#80A Blue (30%

Moon filter (13%)

 

I guess I have some filter testing to do.

The older Japanese Meade 4000s are very good. I have several.
