I am trying to fit a ZWO EAF to a Sywatcher Quattro Newtonian Astrograph

First step is to remove the fixed focus knob

I can’t for the life of me work out how to do this. Doesn’t appear to be any screw holding the knob on?

Any advice welcome

There is a set screw on the side of the knob (Look for a small hole).  If removing the left side, It's only the silver knob however if you want the EAF on the right, you need to remove the fine focus knob first (black) and then the course focuser knob (silver)

I dunno, but maybe DIY is not your forte?

Is there any other friends who could help get you started?

Maybe a rubber band drive would work better? (belt drive)

HThanks SonnyE

DIY is definitely not my thing! But I am new to astrophotography and I live in Outback Quensland - beautiful clear skies but no one around for miles to help. That’s why I find this forum so helpful. Thanks for your reply
