I took a look at the new AR 2765 between 1405 and 1440 UT with my PST DS.  I could only use 25x because of seeing.  The AR is well inside the limb now and large enough to see easily in Ha.  There appears to be some relatively bright plage in the shape of a Vee.  A large filament is to the SW of the AR.  I could only see two very small proms.

What solar filter do you use on your 9.25, SgrB2?

Here's the website for the solar filter with model number 6015-SF

that fits the C9.25 scope.

Do you mind if I ask what camera?

I am shopping both planetary and DSO cameras at the moment and would be interested in being able to image the sun as well.

For the sun I use a ZWO ASI290MM and for DSO & planetary objects I

use a ZWO ASI290MC which was used for the below image of

Saturn.  I've used the mono camera for Saturn before and gotten good

results but the color camera just saves a lot of work.

Awesome pics! Nice to see activity. I'm following this region in wl and ha today. Very exciting watching this area evolve and grow! Wl is quite exciting watching the penumbra develop. Yesterday I got to watch a flare erupt in real-time from here (in ha). Keep up the sweet pics!
