Only have the scope and mount so far, but couldn’t resist getting a quick snapshot of the moon last night.  Meteoblue said 15% cloud coverage. That 15% happened to stay directly between me and the moon. Was still able to capture this pic

Meade LX85 (not turned on)

iPhone held up to the eyepiece (Explore Scientific 82deg 14mm)

 

I have no camera and no photography experience. Currently reviewing some online AP processing classes.  I know the LX85 isn’t the top of the line mount to get but it was at a price point I could do comfortably before determining how in depth I would like to get in this hobby.
