I have a Lunt 60 SS and a Solarmax ii 90 DS. I was curious if the DS etalon can be used on the Lunt scope. I know it’s going to need an adapter and I will only have 60 mm aperture but it will be more portable than the 90.
Has anyone tried to mix Lunt and Coronado etalons? Is there any issue with that? I’m just debating whether to order the adapter or not. If no one has tried it I might be willing to be the guinea pig. If it works the Coronado might be a cheaper option to DS your Lunt.

I'd call Lunt and ask them, they could likely tell you how successful you would be.

There are no issues other than the interface. The combo is commonly refered to as a "Luntinado."
