These four images (in multiple posts to conform to the file limits on CN) where taken last month using either a Nikon D5100 with AF-S Nikkor 70-300mm VR zoom at 300mm and f/8 or a Sony NEX-5R with a Stellarvue SV80ST2 and a 0.8X reducer (e.f.l. 384mm at f/4.8). The optics were carried on a Celestron AVX and the processing was done with a combination of AutoStakkert!, PixInsight, Registax, and Photoshop CC2019.
The first image was taken early on the evening of May 24 and shows the crescent moon against a darkening blue sky as captured with the Nikon D5100 and the Nikkor zoom lens at 300mm.
