What is the difference between these two scopes? They are the same price on Amazon.

It appears one is primarily intended as a finder scope with lesser quality glass but strange to have two 72mm EDs

Thanks

They are identical. The listing that says Evoguide is wrong, it's an Evostar just like the other listing. From looking at the questions/answers both come with the standard accessories: aluminum case, dovetail, and mounting rings.

I recently got one of these scopes used here on CN and I'm really liking it so far. One thing that you'll probably want to upgrade right off the bat is the 2" adapter on the focuser. The stock one is kinda cheap and just uses a couple of screws which will leave marks on your gear. FLO sells an upgraded one with brass compression ring here: https://www.firstlig...ractor-m54.html.

You can probably even get the scope itself a little cheaper from FLO if you're willing to buy from overseas.

My friend overseas uses FLO quite a bit. He is very happy with him but then again he lives in the UK.

Glad you like your Evostar.  He loves them and has the 72,80 and 102 versions.

Prices of Sky-Watchers are much, much cheaper in the UK than over here.

I purchased my 72ED Evostar from FLO and my SW AZ5 mount.
