The sky was somewhat clear this morning. A lot of high haze making the images boil at times. The seeing was average to poor, fluctuating back and forth. I was surprised again that I was able to get detail out of what appeared to be almost unusable image captures.

Here are several of Jupiter and it's moons, followed by Saturn and Mars.

The adventure continues!

And Venus, which was swimming in the muck.

Thanks Paul (and Ian and "cook")! The Great Red Spot really helps! It looks like I may have another crack at it tomorrow morning. It clouds up at night then has tended to clear in the early hours.

No Saharan dust in Arizona. The heat keeps it out.

Thanks again! No, no dust cloud here. I think the high pressure front from the Great Lakes pushed it away from my area. I have rain and clouds to the southwest and northeast of me, but not right here. Some intermittent clouds, but nothing serious. Hopefully I'll have another go at it after midnight. May even try the ETX-125 tonight too. That OTA has really good optics!
