Hi folks,

New to the hobby and just getting my feet wet, so to speak. I have the following on order or in my possession:

Celestron AVX mount

Astro-Tech AT72ED refractor. This is an older version, with the original mounting shoe.

Williams Optics 50mm guide scope with ZWO ASI120mm camera

Unmodified Canon T3i DSLR

My question is, what's the best way to mount the 72ED and guide scope to the AVX? I don't have any rings for the telescope (and while it does have 5mm screw holes for mounting a finder, I don't think it can take the Williams), but the guide scope has both rings and plates for mounting. From my investigations, I think I need a plate, mounting rings for the 72ED, and piggy-back the Williams on that.

Any idea what size rings I need for the 72ED?

Thanks,
