I didn't expect to have another opportunity to image Venus before inferior conjunction, but the sky cleared long enough for me to put out the C8 and image the planet as a thin crescent.

My original plan was to image Venus only, but I noticed Mercury was next to Venus in the sky, so I couldn't help myself and recorded it for the first time in over four years.

Telescope: Celestron C8 EdgeHD

Camera: ZWO ASI290MM

Filters: Chroma Red, Chroma Green, Chroma Blue, Baader 685nm
