A productive morning, if catastrophic for my work output today. Jupiter at 17degrees altitude:

that dark bue clearing in the eq band was one thing i wanted to moniter in my grs cm  thread or at least watch the clearing change over the coarse of a week or so just to dsee whart hapens to it if you dont mind ill post my Jupiter here so you can see what im taking about i am prety much made up i my mind that itts a clearing in the eq band and we are looking through jupters clear atmosphere it you were below it and looked up you may see blue sky being it turns bluish when saturation is applied lightly 2020-06-25-0619_1-L-Jup_AS_p60_g6_ap14_conv_2.jpg

yup i think youre right, that those features are clear areas....

that must be some sight beeing deep down in those clearings and looking up at a bluish sky with towering white festons thousands of miles away to the south and east west and the towering clouds of the neb to the north i don't think even star trek special effects could do its justice. with the size of it all it would be like seeing giant clouds from ny to further than la
